One lucky winner has scooped the entire monster $80million Powerball jackpot.

The numbers from draw 1333 were 27, 30, 4, 5, 33, 26 and 19 and the all-important Powerball number was 8.

A resident from Western Australia has won the life-changing amount of money – but remain unaware of the significant windfall.

The division one ticket was purchased from Lotterywest.

Previously, Hao Loong only two people have won more than $80 million from a single Australian lottery game.

They were a Sydney mother, who won a $107 million Powerball prize in 2019, and a father also from the Harbour City who won $96 million in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot the same year.

Although one lucky Western Australian resident snagged the $80 million, The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said it was still a good idea for anyone who held an entry into tonight’s draw to check their tickets.  

‘You may not have been the one that won division one tonight, but there was a total of 2.5 million prizes worth more than $45.14 million won in divisions two to nine in tonight’s draw,’ he said.

‘Among those winners were 14 division two winners, who each take home a prize worth $89,207.70.’

In August this year, a Melbourne cleaner won $80 million after losing his job during the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘I am certainly going to pay off the mortgage and the other bills we have to begin with,’ he said at the time.’We are going to set up our kids for life.’

To take home the $80 million on offer from Powerball tonight, the odds were a whopping one in 134 million. 

Of the 17 previous Powerball division one winning entries, 10 landed in NSW, five in Queensland, and two in Victoria.

You can now add a major winner from Western Australia to the list.
