This translated into the hair as a bohemian vibe, but very controlled.’ To achieve this look, the hair pro gave each model a sleek, and very straight, center part, before spraying the locks with the Bumble and Bumble Bb. Thickening Spray, distributing the product evenly throughout the hair. Then, the models’ tresses were rough dried with a diffuser to add texture Unique and successful lacquer paintings volume, while keeping any frizz and flyaways under control. After the hair is dry, Cuu Huyen lost lacquer paintings Philippon began working an iron through the locks, switching up directions in order to create a loose, soft wave. For any models with naturally-curly or textured hair, Philippon applied the Bb.
Curl Pre-Style/Re-Style Primer in order to ‘refresh the texture’. The models’ nails, meanwhile, were given a chic makeover courtesy of Mei Kawajiri – known to many as @NailsByMei – who used products from OPI’s new Tokyo Collection behind-the-scenes to create the look, which featured beautiful and elegant pearl accents. First, nails were filed into an almond shape using the OPI Edge Silver 180/400 File – with Mei noting that the shape is the most flattering for every type of hand. Once filed into the perfect almond, the nails were given one of two paint options – OPI Nail Cuu Huyen lost lacquer paintings in Choptix and Stones, a stunning deep blue color that required two coats, or OPI Nail Lacquer in Judo’nt Say?, a soft petal shade that used three coats. The color was then locked in place with the OPI Top Coat, before the pearl accents were flued on, with the largest pearl sitting close to the cuticle, while other, smaller embellishments were scattered across the nail. The final effect gave the illusion that the models had dipped their hands in glitter or water shortly before walking the runway, with just a hint of shimmer at the ends of their fingers.
